Our Story
Beckley Cardiology began with a simple belief: patients in Southern West Virginia should have access to excellent heart care close to home.
Our journey started in August 2015 on Harper Road, in the small lower level of a two-story building. In those early days, Dr. Ganesh Asaithambi focused on cardiology with only a few team members by his side. The space was modest, but the mission was clear - take care of patients well, earn their trust, and build something meaningful for the community.

A Small Beginning

As more patients trusted Beckley Cardiology, the practice expanded services, staff, and diagnostic capabilities to meet the community's needs.
A New Chapter
Heart & Kidney Care Together
The addition of Dr. Divya Rajan expanded the practice to include nephrology, creating a more connected model of care.

Rather than settling for an existing building, the team invested in designing a new facility built specifically around patients, technology, and future growth.

A New Facility in the Pinecrest Area
The new Beckley Cardiology facility sits in the Pinecrest Industrial Park area near the Raleigh County Sheriff's Department and the Bypass. The location was chosen to give patients improved access, more space, and a facility designed specifically for modern outpatient care.
Building from the ground up allowed the team to create a space centered around patient comfort, advanced testing, expanded services, and long-term community value.

A Local Investment
This project has also been a community effort. Beckley Cardiology worked with local officials, utility partners, architects, contractors, and community partners to bring the facility to life. Whenever possible, the team has looked for ways to keep the investment connected to West Virginia and the Beckley community.
